People in the Greater Toronto Area know more about the TTC system than the YRT (York Regional Transit) system. But many people do not know what the policy of YRT is, what is going on from TTC to YRT or from YRT to TTC, or, how to transfer from YRT to Go bus or Go train system? What is their policy?ir policy?

i>  If get on TTC bus (starts and ends) north of Steeles Ave, you will pay a YRT/Viva fare when you board a TTC bus. You can request a transfer, the transfer will work in YRT region;

ii> if travelling southbound across at Steeles Ave., you will pay a TTC fare and YRT/Viva fare when you board the bus. You can request a transfer which will work in Toronto area;

.iii> If you are travelling northbound across at Steeles Ave., you will have to pay a TTC fare when you board the bus first, and a YRT/Viva fare when you exit the front door of the bus. You can request a
transfer from your driver to use additional YRT/Viva services in York Region.

YRT/Viva's Ride to GO program allows you to get to and from GO Train stations for just 75¢. You must have valid prepaid GO fare media in addition to your 75¢. For more information, visit our Ride to GO page here this page.

Ride to GO is available on any YRT/Viva and contracted TTC routes in York Region travelling to/from a GO Train station. You must have a PRESTO Card or valid prepaid GO fare media to use this fare integration.
