Here are the top 10 Ontario universities with the most applications for 2022 Fall (Full Time, undergraduate university study, First Year for 2022 Fall), based on Jan 2022 data:

Compared with the same period last year (2021), almost all of the above 10 universities have their applications up, but only Western Universit's applications have fallen.
The following universities saw a rise in applications compared to the same period last year (2021):

- University of Guelph 22.1%
- University of Waterloo 14.8%
- OCAD Unversity 15.8%
- University of Ottawa 13.6%
- Queen's University 12.9%
- York University 12.9%
The following universities saw a drop in applications compared to the same period last year:
